My 72 Chevy getting a make over!
I just wanted to post a couple of picks of my 72 Chevy 3/4 Ton. It's in the process of getting put back together after a new paint job. Alot of new stuff going back on it. I took this picture with my camera phone so picture is not the best. The picture of the engine is before I got the truck painted so it will look alot better after it's painted around the engine compartment and underhood. I bought this truck from a movie studio lot and was pretty much rust free. It was used alot for the X-Files TV show and in movies as a background vehicle. I painted the truck the original color code of the truck 523 Dark Blue. I will post alot more photos when I do more to it.

I like the color combo under the hood. What kind of paint did you use on the manifolds?

Re: My 72 Chevy getting a make over!
I used the GM Orange high temp paint in a can from Ace Hardware. The engine I went over with a GM blue high temp paint.

[QUOTE=petey-pablo;3999694]You haven't decided on the color Yet ? Come on How hard can that be you know that the medium olive is the best look for that truck
its too hard.. i want a color i would like and dad would like since it used to be his truck before i turned 16... its something that i want that wont get old in my opinion
