My Pick and Pull Score for now

I am going up to See Greg and hit up the Fairfield yard also.

Yesterday I got some new parts for my truck but didn't do anything to the truck. I picked these up from Pick and pulls half price day. The Grill support was $18 and the carb was $25 and the Truions were in the bottom of the tool bag. OOps.. I paid $50 and some change for it all. I also snagged some bolts. Why not, they only fall on the ground and do nothing anyway.
There was only one ding in the grill support and the carb was a rebuilt one so I really don't know what I have. If it works then I won't have to rebuild my other one.

Re: My Pick and Pull Score for now

I was going to go there to but my day didn't go as planned. Did they have much to choose from for the 60-66 trucks?

I'm guessing this is for your 66 in BI. I noticed that your grill support and grill were a little beat up. Do you have a better grill for it yet?

Re: My Pick and Pull Score for now

I just scored a high hump tranny cover from Fairfeld pick n pull! Just the bolt in cover cause I didn't bring anything to get the front part that spot welded in. Not bad for $14.00

The Grill on the 66 is fine. I just needed the support.

I was at the Fairfield yard today with Greg and only saw one, well looked like a 63 but the top was cut off and a 6 point roll cage built in it.

There was a very nice tailgate but was being used to hold hubcaps. They didnt want to seperate from the short box. Other than that, nothing worth mentioning over here.

That's the truck I got the tranny cover from! Why did they cut the top off that thing? The roll cage looked decently installed! It also looked like it was a 4x4 shortbed?

I would say that is going to be a mystery. I would think they were trying to make some kind of buggy with it and failed.
