what did you guys use for hood pads?
im wanting to know what you guys used for the padding under the hood? between the ribs and hood.. ???

you can use these ( item # 6 in the link below). I have seen my buddy use seam sealer at his body shop along the edges after they are installed to keep them from sliding out etc.

I gots nothin' in mine... got it that way. I think the rats packed them out while the truck sat in a field for 20 years.

I believe it's comparable, it could be better with the technology we have these days. I do not know what material the original or repop is made of.
