pics maybe
OK, some pics of my 74 pre-drop. I always start on stuff w/o taking any pics of how it looked before I add my personal touches & then regret it later because theres nothing to compare with.
Anyhow, I've already ditched the incredibly huge 'towing' mirrors or elephant ears & put some small sport mirrors in their place.

Yes . . .... No . . ....
Ok, it's 'Crimson Red', so to some it's red, to others it's orange. I had a 74 Z-28 yrs ago that was the same color & everyone used to ask the same thing back then.

I thought it looked orange when I saw it. Keith calls it red? It looks sweet regardless of what color you call it.
Forget all the color questions, where's the DROP pics????:p

Man, I love that color. Nice truck! I threw that color by my wife for possiblities on my truck and she's not a fan. I'm still leaning towards Indigo Blue and a new lighter silver-blue that is on the Honda S2000s (Suzuka Blue).

Scott:
That looks similar to the stock color mine is painted. A lot of people seem to like it, but it doesn't really do anything for me. Look at the pic in my signature to see what it looks like in that color. Slonaker |

I think bagged78's photo-shopped pic is what I'll end up with. Funny thing is, I'm a freak when it comes to factory wheels, so the 18/20" torq-thrust 2's will only be part time . . .... the rest of the time it will roll on 15x6 & 15x10" steelies w/those same factory hubcaps. I picked up my bumpers on Fri & they look pretty decent for the dough, just need to find the correct brackets to mount & need to get the license plate box.
I'll post some pics when I get done.
