Re: The big 67-72 auction results/pics
The owner was there. The County cracked down on the number of vehicles he had. He was upbeat, helpful, and a great guy to deal with. After the sale I asked if he was happy with the results. He said "You betcha, but it feels strange not to own all this stuff." Sharpie

Re: The big 67-72 auction results/pics
A guy in his 60s had enough of this habit of 67-72 chevy trucks, He sold everything he had . Hes been collecting parts for a very long time and just decided to sell out. Figured he made about $100 grand by doing that with all the trucks and parts that he sold there. he said he had between $25-30 thousand into that blue and white dually that brought $12,500. It was fun to meet some of the truck guys from the Fargo ND area, and of course you cant go to an auction that has truck parts there without seeing that damn WYOMING or MONTANA license plate roll in ! HE HE That means Sharpie 72 is there snaggin the deals and drinkin plenty of Coors Beer ! It was a really fun time !

Thanks for sharing the pics guys! It appears the 4x4 trucks hold their value well up there. I guess there is hope for my ol 69 K10.

Re: The big 67-72 auction results/pics
This has to have been one of the best auctions for our stuff I have ever seen. I would have needed a big rig to haul my loot home. I love seing deals and good oem parts re-surfacing like this.

Re: The big 67-72 auction results/pics
It was an auction. Went for about 6.5 hours. Pretty much everything sold. Some piles went very cheap just to sell. The auctioner was pretty good at getting it going. He didn't mess around if there was no action. He would lump something together, or move on...

Re: The big 67-72 auction results/pics
Those pics looked like heaven (not quite) wish they would have something like that here in Texas.
Nice score on what you bought. How much for the dually fenders?

Re: The big 67-72 auction results/pics
Is that Halstad? If so, I used to live a few blocks from there. Actually, I guess it would be more accurate to say that I had a house there that my wife and kids lived in, I was gone for all but a few months of the time we lived there. I had no idea there was a stash that big so close by.

It's probably a good thing that I didn't make it up there, I don't have enough space around here the way it is!
