updating 60-66 suspensions
Surfing and was looking at Early Classic truck part site. They have attached the following article re updating mid 60's trucks. Thought you would all like to look at it. Very interesting.

Re: updating 60-66 suspensions
I've just recently done most of this article using ECE parts/kits to my '63. I have yet to hang the sway bar. All of the parts are first rate, they ship fast, and are quick and helpful on the phone. I won't mention names (how about initials though; cpp) but others fall short in mail order, screwing up orders. ECE wins my mail order business.

Re: updating 60-66 suspensions
I have one of each sway bar(ECE/CPP) and I like the CPP bar because it uses endlinks as opposed to the stock type bushings of the ECE piece. May have changed by now, did my ECE bar in '02.

Re: updating 60-66 suspensions
It's still the same, ECE uses bushings on the ends instead of links.
I agree, I like the end links better, but I got my ECE bar kit in Texas in 5 days. If I had bought the cpp kit, I would just now be waiting for a return label from the UPS driver, so I could send it back because they put in the wrong parts, and then have to wait for them to get it before they would ship the correct parts; unless of course I want to pay for the part AGAIN, then they would go ahead and ship early. ProTrash, I haven't forgot I'm going to send you some pics!
