Frame mod for a TH350????
will a automatic clear the stock transmission bellshousing mount on a 63 c10 frame, or do you have to remove it when using an automatic tranny????
I know i would have to make a seperate mount to bolt the auto tranny on, just wondering if you can keep the stock mount in there also, in case you ever wanted to go back with a manual??

You have to remove the original bellhousing crossmember when converting to an automatic. For a transmission crossmember, you can use one from a '73-'87 truck, Suburban or Blazer as long as they are 2wd. You'll just have to drill the mounting holes in your frame.
