Ever had a weird dream about these trucks?

I dreamt last night that during dissasembly at the body shop my guy was tearing my shortbed apart(here comes the weird part) and for whatever reason it had a factory bed cap(like a blazer) and underneath the plastic he found factory rear air, and it had a factory AM/FM cassete stereo mounted by the factory air. I think i've been looking at the parts boards a little too much...

Re: Ever had a weird dream about these trucks?

I have dreams that I find/buy back my old 68 stepside that I sold 14 years ago. In the dream it shows back up at my dad's place like its been sitting back there the whole time, or maybe my family ran across it and bought it back for me...I don't really know. Either way, I climb back in it and it's basically just like it was when I last saw it. It's the best feeling ever! I end up hotrodding around town just like old times! I have probably had this dream 10 times in the last couple years. I told my wife about it the other day, she of course laughed and rolled her eyes a little. I told her, "Hey would your rather I dream about old trucks or other women?" She said jokingly, "Sometimes I think it would be easier and cheaper if it was other women!"

Every vehicle I've ever owned has been in a dream at one time or another. Some of them good, some strange and some were downright bad.

Re: Ever had a weird dream about these trucks?

Not quite a dream, but sometimes I will see a truck drive by or be sitting and I will say to myself, "If I had one of those trucks, I'd ..." Then I realize I have one of those trucks! I need to get mine back together.

Re: Ever had a weird dream about these trucks?

I had a dream (don't do drugs or hard stuff) that I awoke to some noise in the garage. went to check it out and to my surprise this guy is grinding the new paint on my 71 fleetsides hood. he turns and tells me that he's removing a bug from the paint job!! thats it, after that it just goes black . this was the week after I painted the truck 4 years ago. still gets me full hot! cheers, Pat

Re: Ever had a weird dream about these trucks?

not about my truck but the night after I put 22's on my tahoe I dreamt that I came out in the morning and it was sitting on blocks and my new rims and tires were gone.

Re: Ever had a weird dream about these trucks?

The last two nights I've had dreams about my truck. The first night I was out driving it in a bad rain storm and somehow missed a turn and slid it broadside into a building good thing the alarm then woke me up... Just this morning I had a dream that I was driving the truck out in the country and got stuck behind some Sunday driver... I've been getting my truck ready for the big Car Show/Cruise night in my hometown this weekend so I assume the dreams are coming from the fact that the truck has been on my mind all day every day this week... or something I ate... ;-)
