67 front end on a 72 ??

How hard is it to put a complete 67 front end on a 72? Got my 72 for free but I have always loved the look of the 67's. I think I have the skills just wondering if anybody has ever done it or has any experience? It may be easier than I imagine and I'm just over thinking it, if so please enlighten me.

Re: 67 front end on a 72 ??

go with a 68 nose... same grill and hood, but the side markers are in the fenders just like on the bed of your 72. Markers in back but not up front would look funny.
Just swap out the entire front clip. Fenders, hood, core support and grill, all as one piece. Then swap out the front bumper and outer bumper brackets.
I did it on my 72 burb... very easy.

Thanks Longhorn, I plan on on shaving the rear markers anyway so I'll probably go with the 67. Thanks again for the info.

no disrespect taken. Most of the questions posted have been answered many many times in the past. I think google would lock up if it gave an honest attempt at searching 700R4 just on this board alone.

If you have welding skills, then 67 or 68 fenders will work fine, and done't forget ALL 67 - 72 GMC fenders will work too.
