3.73 posi center section from a 69 12 bolt truck. $300 shipped, or you can have the entire 6 lug leaf sprung rear if you want to pick it up.

Do you know if the center and gears is the same for all year 12 bolt rears ? Are the gears useable? If the answers are yes and if it will fit in a 1977 truck 12bolt and it comes complete with ring, pinion, carrier and all shims , and it gets to me , I will take it.

Yes, complete ring and pinion setup with carrier and shims. The gears look good and the fluid was clean. I believe it will fit a 77 12 bolt, but any expert opinions would be appreciated. Thanks, Sharpie

I have swapped a '65 12 bolt posi/gears into an '80 truck 12 bolt, so I'd say yes they are the same.
