K5 headliner replacement question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I got one of the new style headliners where the original style/color vinyl is attached to ABS plastic to help prevent the sag that I need to install. Once I remove all the trim pieces, will the old headliner fall free, or is it attached somehow?

It should just fall right out..
