What brand and model of airbags are you guys running if you have them

just bought a kit from *****************... went with the re6 and re7's from slam specialties, heard good things about their ride and quality

slam specialties are pretty good bags, they have a nice ride at a wide range of pressure. they also have built in bump stops so when you are riding real low you don't have that harsh bottoming out that you get with some other bags. conitech's are a close runner up to the slams. the way the coni's are put together seems so make them last along time even when you abuse the hell out of them.

Ya my suspension guy wants me to buy this $1900 kit from Universal Air and to have 8-9 switches when I only need 3 switches. What about Firestone bags?

I'm waiting for my ifs kit, and 4 link from No limit. They use Firestone. I'll let you know how it turns out if I can find an affordable air management kit.

i would go with slams, firestones are good bags though. i think your can put together a system for less than 1900, what all does it come with? seems like there is a lot of knowledge here to help you put together a nice system to suit your needs.

Which bags should I go with RE6 or RE7

well i'm guessing you are bagging a 50 based on your screen name? it all depends on what front suspension you go with. you might not be able to fit the 7's. what are you doing in the rear?

I am running a MII front end with a triangulated 4 link in the rear with a notch

im runnin airlift on my 48 with a s10 frame with no problems in 4 years. thinkin about swapin out with some slams

The optimum is 5 switches. It's nice to have one for each corner so you have the ability to compensate for various loads, fuel, etc. It's also nice to have one that dumps the system.

Firestone bags are the standard of the industry. You can't go wrong with them.

i agree with chevyresto, when it comes to bags, bigger is better and will also give a better ride quality. i'd run the biggest that will fit.

i have a 6 link in the rear and due to space/clearance req's, i can only run 6's in the rear.

in the front, i have a '94 s10 front clip with oem control arms - you need to cut some of the cup of the frame to get the 7's to fit, but it's not too bad and the ride will be much better.

I have never tried the convoluted bags in the rear, so I cant speak of their ride quality, (although I do question the ride quality due to their stiffness & limited travel) I used firestone rolling sleeve bags in the rear with triangulated 4 link & love the ride, in town & on the hiway. If / when I need to replace the front Firestone convoluted bags, I would like to try the "Slams", but have no complaints with the Firestones.
