'02 ford 8lug wheels?
I have read that the newer ford 8 lug wheels will not fit chevy's 8lug. Where's the breaking point for this?
I found a set of wheels for sale, off of an '02 (i think they said) ford truck. I have an '85 burb 3/4 ton. I called the fella, he measured the wheels out a 8x6.5" bolt pattern, and the center hole on his is 4.75", all the same measurements as mine. Any reason these won't fit on my burb? Thanks, Jay

98 or 99 and up ford won't fit,The ford pattern is 8 on 170mm.It's very close to 8 on 6.5.You can easily make a mistake when measuring thats how close it is!!Hope this helps!!!

Re: '02 ford 8lug wheels?
That's what I wanted to know. The wheels are 1.5hrs from me, and I had the owner of them measure them. He came up with the 6.5" bolt measurement, but I bet they are the metric measurement and he's just not seeing that on a tape measure.
Thanks, saved me a drive out there to measure them myself. But it does kinda blow that ford did that. I could have me a nice set of wheels for cheap. LOL

Re: '02 ford 8lug wheels?
The changeover happened with the super duty trucks. The van kept the regular 8lug pattern, maybe even up to current.
