Anyone replaced the inner cowl panel?

Has anyone replaced the inner cowl panel with the new aftermarket piece?

nop, but i have a good one in my old cab. just need to removed


i saw my old cab and it does not seem to be very difficult to remove it, only has spot welds

That is what I thought....lol. They are pretty hard to get out and keep them straight.

Not really, it was pretty bad and there was rust between were the spot welds were so it needed to come out anyways. I already have it out... took about 30 minutes and it was on the floor.

Looks like we are in the same boat. I am going to cap off the air vents into the cab as I am going to use a vintage air and will not need them. Keep me up to date on how yours turns out.

I'll be ordering one pretty soon as well for my cab. Just an fyi, there are several vendors who sell the replacement part for $195. That'll save you a few bucks compared to the vendor you listed above.

Rust sucks......

Here is what I am going to do to mine. Hopefully by removing the bottom piece it will drain fine, besides it is pretty much rusted out too.

Wow..... I am glad mine isn't that gone Looks like you are doing some fine work though!!!

On the Second link..... that is what I was thinking about doing to mine before I cut it out but I still had to take it out to fix the rusting issue were the panels were spot welded. I may end up and do mine like that, sure would be a lot more room for a/c and mounting the computer,etc. Thanks for that link!!
