Column help needed!

I'm sure there is a thread here to help me and I cant find it! I have a late 70's automatic truck column I need to mount in my 64 GMC. I reallly cant leave it tore apart for very long and I wanted to get the run down before I disassemble. Thanks in advance.

I used a column from a '64 Impala in mine. Used the original bracket and a heavy duty stainless steel muffler clamp to attach.
