Re: What did you do to your truck today!
67 six bolt rear with 3.73's removed & a 71 five bolt rear in with 3.07's in! Took all day as the u-bolts had become one with the rear control arms. Drums, backing plates & diff cover powder coated semigloss black, the rest painted. New stainless rear brakelines w/ gravelguard toped it all off to look sweet. Wow does the rest of my truck look crappy now...

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I've been sanding down the firewall and frame. Today I painted them both semi-gloss black. I also sanded all of the rust off of my fenders and painted them as well.

Windshield and rear slider came out. Mocked up the headers. A bunch of pictures here:

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Changed the water pump, and flushed the cooling system again.
Then took her for a 100 mile cruise in the back roads, after that came into town and stopped in at In-n-Out burger to make a nice end to a productive day.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Washed the under carriage from all the oil mess from a leak I thought I fixed in the T221, only to find that another one has appeared where the TC mates to the transmission!
![]() These leaks have not been your typical one spot drip on the driveway either, rather they piss all over the under side of my burb and leaves a film all over the back of the truck. Anyone know of a trustworthy and competent shop that can R&R my TC to replace this gasket in SoCal?!?! I'm researching right now to see how difficult it may be for me to do it myself, but I am also figuring in the hassle factor for me and so far the idea of paying someone to do it is winning. After all that clean up, I washed, waxed, vacuumed, and cleaned all the glass.
