Kit or no kit

Was wondering whats a better route to take for bagging my truck buying a complete kit or pieceing one together heres what Ive got its a 62 c10 removing torsion setup and installing complete crossmember from a 78 gonna run dropped spindles and stock A-Arms remove coils and put baggs. At the rear remove stock coils and install bags in same location with a c or pipe notch not a big notch not trying to lay frame just sit low also no SS just up & down thanks, Tony

i pieced it
bags 280
tank 50
line and all fittings 160
valves 80 (used)
and all that leaves is a compressor and switches

i bought everything local and the tank lines and fitting were all from a semi truck repair shop= way cheaper

i think suicide doors has a kit for 850, plus shipping and which ever taxes

so you can save a couple bucks but depends how much running around and the resources you have near by.

ahh yea, thats canadian dollars too

Which ever is cheeper. If you find a kit that has a bunch of stuff you aren't going to use it may be cheeper to buy only what you need seperately. Since you know what you want, price it both ways and see where you're at.

I'd piece it. You should be able to get fittings local. Truck shops and independent hardware stores carry them. Ask for "push to connect" fittings.

Order the comp, valves and tank from SD or AVS etc.
SD always has a good deal on dominator 2600s.

Don't try to get ahead on fittings. Wait until you have the comp, valves, bags and tank in hand then figure your fittings. I thought I had it figured and then wound up going a whole different route.

Good advice. I have plumbed a hand full of systems and still end up wanting to change something once I'm actually running the lines, valves, ect.
