They shop called and said the rear end is not even fixable. I need to find a replacement in good condition. Please let me know the raitio if you know. Prefer DFW area.

I have a 8-lug rear end with leaf spring. Out of 72 3\4 ton gmc with 62,000 actual miles on rear end. Iwill have too check on gear ratio. THANKS RAY

Let me know what you want for it and what it would cost to ship to 75771 a business. I will check and see if we have greyhound close. Is it a GM rearend or a Dana rear end?

I have a couple about 4 hours east of Dallas. (Choudrant, La.) One is in a '69 2wd, and one (I was told) is out of a 72 3/4 ton 4x4. Both are Eaton I believe. I'm not sure what gear they have, or what shape they are in. $100 for either one, but I'd rather not ship.

Thanks HuggesrCS. Is the rearend from the 69 out of the truck? I am actually only about 2 hours from you. I am close to Tyler.

Its out of the truck - sitting in a old truck bed by the barn. I bought it years ago from Ed at Mothertruckers. I thought my Eaton HO72 was falling apart, but instead I had it rebuilt. What is up with yours? Is it a Eaton or Dana?

Thanks for the info but I was asking Hugger about his. I am going to pass on shipping yours for the time being. My Dana 60 is beyond being able to be rebuilt according to the shop. I also just had to replace the Dana 60 in my half ton so I am a little gun shy of a Dana rearend at the moment. I am going to find an Eaton if possible. Thanks again.

Kinda.

It's in the back of my "junkyard", but I can lift the back with my tractor, and a do have a blue speed wrench. (cutting torch). If I can find time to pull it, I may be able to bring it to you in the next week or two. I may be making a trip to Dallas. I should know by monday. i have one out of a '71 c-20. it is a 14 bolt, i will ship it including drums,$150 plus the ride. i get a good discount with fed-ex freight thru work.
