door/window weatherstrip confusion
I'm replacing every piece of rubber in my doors. My '85 vent windows have the 2 piece seals (even though LMC says they should be 1 piece), so I have that part figured out. I know I should need part #5 below to get the window channels and inner/outer seals for the door glass. What I'm confused on is the channel on the back of the vent window assembly post, the channel where the front of the door glass rides up/down in. Is part #6 in this drawing what I need? Or does the seal that comes in the #5 "kit" go down that vent window channel? My truck looks like it's set up like a 73-80 truck would be according to LMC drawings, I'm thoroughly confused on what I should order.

my vent windows had a 2 piece seal but i put that one piece that got sent in the kit and couldnt be UNHAPPIER, so your truck had a 2 piece? i think i have to change the seals then, i was just going to silicone those damn vents closed.
