Where do I connect my parking assist sensor module?
hi there,
I fitted my Burb with Parking assist sensors. I did this, becase here in the Netherlands, my car is rather big compared to the average European car. So parking it can be a B1tch. to make sure I dont hit anybody, I added these sensors. I did not want to drill big holes i the chrome bumper, because I was scared of rust in wintertime. I drilled small holes underneath the bumper and hanged the under. Usually you would connect the 12V of the sensoremodule to the rear parking light. When this gets 12V from putting the gear in reverse, the parking sensors will come on. But since the ground of the rear brake/brake/reverse/flasher light is all shared in a way I can net make sense of, I wanted to ask you guys. Where would you connect the 12V from the sensor module? here are some pics car in front of our house. My Audi A3 is behind it and opposite is a Mercedes 200something from our neighbours. See how big our Burb is.

As far as the ground lead goes, you can hook it up anywheres you can get a good metal to metal contact at. then simply tap into your revers light circuit in the harness under the back end.
