Re: I need an UN-BIASED opinion.
well i look at it this way if ide rather have a truck that was dependible and burnt alot of gas than a truck that you had to bring home and start workin/spending$$$ on and have to "finish" someone elses project. so ide say keep the ford but i have to say that is a clean looking ford in my chevy biased opinion!

Re: I need an UN-BIASED opinion.
Keep the Furd...at least 'till someone offers you a P.O.S. Dodge
I've driven quite a few Fords, never really had a problem with 'em. It only took one Dodge to do me for the rest of my life...they should sell those cheap ba$stards at Harbor Freight - same quality!!! |

Re: I need an UN-BIASED opinion.
Wow, all the Chevy guys say keep the Ford!
I agree also, you made the right decision based on what was offered for the trade: keep the Ford. Last edited by lakeroadster; 10-07-2010 at 08:57 AM. |

Re: I need an UN-BIASED opinion.
Keep the Ford. 14 mpg on a 460 or any big V8 3/4 ton is surprising to me - don't expect that in another similar truck. I only got that in a 3/4 ton 73 C20 454 on the highway only, with no A/C. Most Chevy V8 3/4 tons will get 10-12 mpg combined. Your Ford fixed up cosmetically is worth some $$.
