i kinda grew up with these trucks, used to be owned by my dad

197? GMC C20, 350, auto (took my pregnant mom to the hospital & me back home )
198? Chev C10, 250, 4 spd (zero rust Ohio truck!, owner after us parted truck out for body parts)

197? GMC K15? "Heavy Half" (8 lug) 350, auto (owned by friends parents to plow snow, drove it a few tiems around town with no tags just for fun when they were out, also caught it on fire trying to start it once, I wanted to buy it cuz I thought it was sooo cool, but they sold to neighbors for $200...it needed new tires, battery, a decent cleaning, and a wing vent window...that was IT...ran and drove fine, and the plow went w/ it)

1983 1/2 ton 4WD LWB w/350 and 3 speed(with "granny" gear). Had shorty glasspacks--you could hear it blocks away!

1984 1/2 ton 2WD LWB with 350 and 700R4 and a sleeper cab. My father-in-law owns it now. Body is going to he#%, but it has a new Goodwrench 350 and a freshly rebuilt tranny.

Early '80s black/red Blazer (full-size), I don't remember anything else about it. Had a cool removeable top!

My current 1991 Suburban 1500 4WD. I LOVE it!

At one point when we lived in Texas my dad had over a dozen pristine older Chevy trucks, mostly late 60s, early 70s. We even had a customized Apache, '59 I believe. He also had a few muscle cars, '67 and'69 RS Camaros, '66 or '67 SS Chevelle, Impala with a 396 and a few others. Lots of fun! Wish he had them now!
