uugh! Squeaky bushings

I am assembling my front end right now. The tubular control arms from TCI came with preassembled bushings. I assemble it once already, but took it apart after noticing how much they squeaked and squalked. I know you need to use a silicone based lubricant on the poly, but how on earth do you get it in between the bushing and the steel sleeve when it is a preassembed unit from the factory? Any ideas anyone??

Re: uugh! Squeaky bushings

I had the same problems with my cab bushings.
After some WD40, a little grease on the ends and about a year mine quieted down.
Its too bad that the manufacturers didn't put a grease fitting there for you.

Re: uugh! Squeaky bushings

Doesn't over lubrication defeat the purpose of using the urethane bushings (move stiffness and less movement in the suspension)? Maybe a animal seringe and liquid silicone based lube will work?
