Stamped on the pad on the passenger side block deck is V1227WK. On the back of the block on the driver side, is casting 3932386, Name that motah!

So from three sources... i would say you got a 1969 350, 4 bolt main. Unless it was changed internally

327 & 350 blocks WEREN'T the same. Small vs Large Journal. It's safe to say that SOME 327 / 350 blocks could cross reference, but only when the 327 crank was a large journal crank.

Cool! So I have a 350 4 bolt main block. It has flat top pistons in it. .060" stamped on them. Now, having said that, let me add some more flavor to the conversation. With the block, I also got a Comp Cams 268H cam, new still in the box. I have a GM tuned port intake setup. I'd like to use it, with the 268H cam. Nice thing about the TPI set up is, I can change runners, injectors, throttle body, and the tune (chip) to suit my needs. I also have my MSD 6AL box, blaster 2 coil, and Pro-Billet dizzy. Also, I haven't decided on a set of heads yet. I would like to go with aluminum heads. 2.02/1.60 valves, 64cc or so chambers. But these intake runner sizes confuse me. Looks like I should be less than 200cc? I have a 700R4 trans, 275/60R15 tires. I'm not sure about my gear ratio. But this is all for a 80 short wide truck. Use will be daily driver, back and forth to work, knocking around town. So I ask, does the cam seem like too much? What heads would you suggest? This is build the engine, part Deux. Part one was a fail. #1 cylinder is near death, engine is making rattling, angry noises. Old, worn-out 69 307 block was a bad idea to build. I had no idea it was that worn-out.

Nobody has any opinion on what cc runners I should look for in cylinder heads? No opinions on the cam working/not working with TPI? It's a Comp Cams 12-268-2. Also known as a XE268H.
