what year steering wheel is this?
So I bought a 72 chevy c-10 super cheyenne and it came with this wheel. All the other wheels I have seen have square horn buttons. I am assuming this is not an original wheel. I need to get the horn working so it passes inspection. It works when I ground the little push button to the side of the cup so I am assuming all I need is a horn button kit. I was going to buy a horn kit with the little cup, disc, plastic ring and all but this wheel already has some type of metal cup in it. It looks like the horn clips to this metal cup. Does anyone know what year steering wheel this is, or if the regular horn kit will work in it? Thanks guys!

Re: what year steering wheel is this?
Looks like you guys were right it's a 90 or 91 S-10 wheel. I ended up not having to buy any internal parts. Through experimentation I discovered that if I ran a wire between the tab on the bottom of the horn button and connected it to the little plunger that sticks out by the nut, it created a circuit once the button was pushed. I then pressed the horn button and wallah it worked. I now have a horn to pass inspection! I also found out that these trucks had a two horn system which I didn't know. Right now I only have a high horn but will get the low horn from Autozone tomorrow to complete the tone. Thank you all for your help at least I can get on the road tomorrow. I'm also excited because the cracked windshield is being replaced tomorrow for $140 bucks which I think isn't too bad. Again thanks guys!

Re: what year steering wheel is this?
the two horn is an option, or normally within an option package... but yeah, it's a stock feature.

Damn steering wheel is upside down, be careful! Reminds me of a flat tire I had the other day, it was only flat on one side so I figure it's good to go
