side windows??
Finally getting back around to putting my side windows back in my truck after about 3 yrs. I noticed it looked like previous owner or factory had a little grease on the side window track. Does a little grease go there or does the rollers do just fine on their own?? Thanks in advance..

yes I think you should lube the tracks for the regulator to roll on.should keep it smooth and quiet

Re: side windows??
The 1960 Chevy Shop Manual shows how to remove and replace the regulator, but makes no mention of lubricant. Whenever mine is apart I use white grease or Lubriplate to insure smooth squeak free operation. If you have the regulators out of the truck it's a good idea to completely remove the old grease since it could be contaminated, or incompatible with whatever new grease is added.

Re: side windows??
I just sprayed liquid wrench on mine when I had them out, but some grease would probably hold up longer...
