Question question about a 1963 140?

Hey guys,
im pretty new here and this is my first real thread...so dont laugh at me! lol. I currently own a 1963 chevy C140, (as pictured below) its not close to being stock, but i was curious as to what the difference is between a C140 and a C10. Thanks!

I think it might be the difference between the short fleet and a short step model numbers that is. I was surprised to find that mine was a K15... something or other. I think I may have found it on a vin. decoder chart. Might even be here.

That explains it. C 14 0 in the vin means it's a swb 1/2 ton. Which makes it a C10.
What's the first number in your vin?
Still an awesome truck!!! You make me jealous!!! LOL!!!
