Rearview mirrow placement
Can someone tell me the placement on rearview mirror for 86 shevy truck please.
I assume it is centered with antenna in glass but how far down from top of trim or rubber gasket? Thanks. I did a search but couldn't find anything. Last edited by HOGDADDY; 11-11-2010 at 06:16 PM. |

Re: Reatview mirrow placement
Just place it down far enought to clear your visors when they are flipped down. That is all I do, and how I see the glass guys do it.

Re: Reatview mirrow placement
make sure when you are sitting in the drivers seat it isn't level with your eyes, so it doesn't block your normal view. you don't want to normally have to look around it to see if a car at an intersection is hiding behind it.

Re: Reatview mirrow placement
I can measure in the morning to be exact, but the tab goes on just a little below the shaded area, if that makes sense.
