Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV
Resurrecting this old thread.
I saw the best commercial on Versus Country this weekend. Green GMC driving to a fishing spot. The narrator says something to the effect of he would rather recycle the old truck than get a new one. I have searched the web and youtube but I couldn't find it. Anyone else see it?

Dale Earnhardt jr owns a couple of 67-72 Chevy Blazers and SWB trucks. Actually Jr has a huge collection of every generation of Chevy/GMC Truck made a mixture of stock and customized versions.
Also Top Gear showed a couple of Chevy and GMC's parked in the desert when they where driving from Reno to Bonneville salt flats on there American Muscle car special.

Re: Celebrity 67-72 trucks on TV
There's a 73-75 full top blazer on one of the first few scenes of Police Academy 2. Mahony was on a quad patrolling the beach and some dude in a full top blazer was out there. It ended with the blazer being jumped over a breakwall into the ocean. It's a badass scene, but the movie blows.
