I bought an alternator at O'reillys that didn't work. They used a homemade tester, a motor on a board, to test it. Refused to replace it. Went to Autozone to buy another, when I told the clerk what happned at O'Reillys, he tested it on a machine and said it wasn't any good. He then said since they carried the same brand that he would warranty it for me. The new one cost me nothing.
