Seatbelts! how to restore?
Anybody know of a good potion to restore the seatbelts zippyness!
I was going to soak them with wd40 but I thought I would ask first. The belts are getting frustrating. they stick when pulling them out and they don't rewind back in very good......

Re: Seatbelts! how to restore?
i think getting WD40 onto your seatbelt webbing is a good way to destroy any strength that still remains in that 40year old webbing

Re: Seatbelts! how to restore?
the retractors have magic powers and lose them when taken apart, I'm convinced. as for the webbing just soak it in a mild detergent (I used simple green diluted in a bucket, then put them through the dishwasher.)
