Tire size on a dropped truck?

I am looking at the 3/5 spring drop setup from cpp
I have a stock 67 SWB 2wd pickup with stock 15" steel reversed wheels.

Is there a way to calculate what tire size is best for the setup I am looking at?

Good info, thanks

You know, I have seen that page in reference to the different drop profiiles, but never noticed the tire sizes

I'd say drop the truck first, then see how it looks. You might end up liking the way the existing tires fit. You'll at least be able to get a better idea of what you want. Just my $0.02.

27" tall tire is PERFECT of a 3/5 drop. Thats what I ran last year 17" though and it was very nice.

I have ECE 2.5-inch drop spindles on the front of my '69 SWB C-10, and their 4-inch drop springs on the rear. I'm running 255-70R15's on the rear, and 235-60R15's on the front. 60's are too short, for my opinion....leaves too much room in the wheel opening. I'd like to have 275-15's in the rear and 225-75s in the front, with another inch taken from the elevation, via springs. But, then I'd like to take another inch or two, out of the rear. When will it ever end??

I have 255/70 R15s all the way around on my 67. Looks like I can drop it first then check the gap to determine a new tire size.

Thanks for the input

When you do a 3/5 or 4/6 drop on these trucks, does it affect the drive shaft angle at all?
