Thinking about lowering my truck need some input

I was thinking about a 3 drop in the front and 5 in the back with coil springs. Doing a drop like this will it allow my truck to sit level instead of having one end higher than the other.

Will I have to c-notch my frame since im considering droping it 5 in the rear?

Will I have to buy new shocks or can I just buy the shock relocation brackets?

And will doing a drop like this with the coil springs play a major role in how my truck handles and rides because I use this truck as a daily driver.

I'm new to all this and all input would be helpful

I'm running a 3.5/5 drop. You won't have to C-nothch the frame. You can use stock shocks with relocation brackets.

The lower stance will help the handling quite a bit. If you don't have one already, you also may want to invest in at least, a front sway bar. The sway bar will make a dramatic difference in handling.

Also, with more than 4" of rear drop, invest in a Super Track Bar kit. It's a longer than stock and relocated panhard bar that helps with suspension articulation.

Your best bet is to buy from ECE. They may be a tad more money than competitors, but you get what you pay for. Top notch quality, customer support and complete packages with everything you will need to do the job.

No

Not sure but I would guess that you do. I needed new shocks anyway and bought drop shocks/relocation brackets and I would also recommend an adjustable panhard bar.

Mine is a daily driver and the ride is better as it has a lower center of gravity. Those drop springs in the rear will still handle most loads you throw in the bed too.

Thanks for the info fellers I really like how your sits 68stepbed. I was looking on there site and seen that they only offer a 3in coil and a not a 3.5in coil how did u manage to get the 3.5in

2.5" spindle and 1" spring. Be careful with going more than 3" with just springs. ECE doesn't recommend more than a 2" drop spring at all because they can actually pop out if the suspension gets unloaded. Other companies do sell 3" front drop springs. You also run into alignment issues.

The only down side(if it's a down side) to drop spindles, is you will have to convert to disc brakes up front, if yours isn't already. If your truck is still 6-lug and you don't want to convert to 5lug, you can get 6lug rotors.
