Re: Should go to smaller wheels?
PTS-
Thanks for the specific numbers. The rear has air bags...I've considered removing them in favor of a lowered spring kit. Not sure the advantages of one or the other. It's level now but I actually prefer a slight rake with the rear a little higher. |

Re: Should go to smaller wheels?
this is a board members truck first is with rallies and a 5/7 drop, second is with 20/22 billet specialties and a 5/7 drop, rallies are nice, but the second picture says it all to me, wheels fit the fenders perfect and IMO this truck is nice both ways but the second picture makes it look amazing

Re: Should go to smaller wheels?
Sharp looking truck....I like the style of those wheels. Like the slight rake in the second photo. If that's a 5/7 drop then mines at least a 4/6.

Re: Should go to smaller wheels?
I just sold a set of Weld Racing rims that would have been perfect for your
truck. The fronts were 17 x 8's, and the rears were 18 x 9.5's (I agree with the others on the classic looks, but might consider the Coy C57 Gunmetal's) I have 20/22 Coy C5's on my Blazer, but it's a bit much for Non Air Bagged.

Re: Should go to smaller wheels?
Definitely Old School...one day, I myself will stop long enough to go to the local "hubcap heaven" and buy trim rings and baby moons for my 15" steel wheels...got 10.5 x 31's on them and, with the big block springs under the front & 'burb speings under the back, gives nice lift and the bigger tires fill up the wheelwells now...and those moons oughta "nice it up"....

Re: Should go to smaller wheels?
I rather the classic look too... I plan on a set of Cragar Torque Thrust Replicas.. 20x8 front and 22x10 rear. I have to have the BIG Wheel Staggered look

Re: Should go to smaller wheels?
I agree 100%. In addition, I also vote for a Torque Thrust wheel - staggered 20" with the appropriate sized tires would be perfect. I think the wheels that you have above would throw off the correct look that should be on your truck as much as those "snow flake" style 22's do. It is your truck, of course, but that would finish it IMHO. I love the color...

Re: Should go to smaller wheels?
The first one - do those in a 20" or 22" staggered and it will be great...

Re: Should go to smaller wheels?
That was my 1st choice... I'm painting the truck sliver/white so either one will look dam good. I'm thinking of 20x8 and 24x10, having a hard time finding a classic wheel in 24"
