I think that style of steering wheel is the best one ever to be made. I love them!
It beats the hell out of any aftermarket wheel. I have one on my 68’ GMC and my 78 K10. Here is the one on my K10

My dad has a friend that bought his 1978 K20 brand new with a SM465 manual and it does have factory cruise that still works too. Sucker even has a factory tach.

I'll stick with the Grant GT wheels!
Feels a little small at first, but then its perfect. I bought this one off ebay for around $60. Its the fake carbon fiber one. Hey DirtlyLarry: Where did you get that shifter knob (sm465)? My stock knob is smooth and I like that textured looking one.

The shift knobs are still available from any GM dealer or you can order them from LMC truck. I bought mine from my local dealer. Since you are in Phoenix, I am sure Brown and Brown will have one if not maybe Sands Chevrolet. SM465 4 –speed manual trans shift knob GM part #14072696 or LMC 30-2659 NP205 4wd shift knob GM part #15648946 or LMC 30-2700
