The rivets hold the drum to the hub. The whole assembly can be removed by taking the wheel bearing nut off like the guys said above. If you don't want to mess with grease and bearings, you can grind off the rivets and remove just the drum. I had to remove the rivets on mine to get the wheels to seat flat against the drum. Someone might have taken the rivets out previously also. The rivet heads are in between the wheel studs. I think there are three of them. Hope this helps, Jeff.
