So with that combo, do you have to slip the clutch much on take off?
If it's cold it takes a little effort to get it going. when it's up to temp it doesn't seem to have any problems. I'm not sure what my first gear ratio is.

I wasn't trying to affend anyone with the busting balls coment. Just thought it was funny. I better make sure I know what I'm talking about on here. You can get called out in a hurry.

My truck is 3/4 ton with the rear axle, and front crossmember out of 80 chev.
I went with the bigger tires because I just like the way it looks.

Three gears is all you need son. I rebuilt my Saginaw myself. There weren't but about three parts in the thing! I'd love to find one near me with an overdrive though. Keep that shifter on the tree unless you want your girl sittin' on the other side of yer cab. Then again...shiftin' between her knees might be fun!
