Do '88-98 seatbelts work in a square cab?!?
Hi guys,
I just bought a nice '86 SWB. Unfortunately it's original seat belts were taken out. Probably when they redid the truck from the original brown/beige to dark grey with a black/dark grey interior. Here in the Netherlands, Europe I have to have seat belts in it, otherwise I can't register the truck. Now I was thinking, would seatbelts out of a nineties C/K truck work in my '86?!? Anyone tried this before? 4 years ago I had an '80 stepside with an updated interior. Seats and some other things from a 94-95 era C/K. I always had the feeling the seatbelts came out of the same donor truck the seats came out of. erik Last edited by erikgto; 12-10-2010 at 05:39 PM. |

I put a set from a 94 Extended cab (the floor piece if very thin) in my daughter's 82 everything bolted into the stock holes.

I ment the part that mounts to the floor is slimmer than one for the regular cab. It slim design fits better between the seat and the door.
