72 K5 clutch adjustment???
Need any help I can get before I dig into this project.
Anyone know of a solid path to take in adjusting the clutch on my Blazer? Right now with the pedal to the floor, the clutch is still engaged and very hard to shift. 1" off the floor and your moving. Help!! Thanks : )

Re: 72 K5 clutch adjustment???
It sounds like you need to lengthen the adjustment rod that goes to the clutch fork. It is a threaded rod with two 9/16" nuts (one is a jam nut). You should be able to adjust the linkage so that you have about an inch of free play (you can depress the clutch pedal about an inch or so until you feel the throw out bearing contact the pressure plate). There is a rectangular/triangular nosed piece that fits on the end of the adjusting rod up against the clutch fork - sometimes that piece is gone when you have a situation like you are describing.
