Exhaust - Louder than stock, but not deafening
Looking for some advice on an exhaust setup that is a little louder than stock, but not going to turn heads it's so loud. It's a 70 chevy with a stock fuel injected 350 out of a 90 Chevy truck and it will be a daily driver.
The muffler shop suggested turbo mufflers and quoted me $420 which sounded pretty high to me. |

Re: Exhaust - Louder than stock, but not deafening
I would say to run some of the longer cased magnaflows, it will be quite when cruising and get a little louder when you stomp on it. I have one on my 01 tahoe and it sounds good and is never too loud. If the quote is for a full exhaust to back and includes mufflers it sounds like a decent price.

Turbo mufflers would be a good choice for slightly louder than stock as well as the above suggested long cased magnaflow.
