Pulled the TuffLiner out of the Barney truck, and put it in my 87 V30. Traded the barney truck for an 85 Scottsdale 6.2 diesel. Going to put all the 6.2 stuff into another crew cab, mostly 89 parts, but older cab.

I got most of my engine swap finished. The old engine is out, the new one is in the frame, and most of the parts are cleaned up. It was f-f-f-f-cold outside Saturday night, too.

Re: what did you get done 12/12/10 snowflake edition

Found out where my coolant was disappearing to, on Saturday. I was topping off all my fluids, and realized I needed another quart of oil, so I made a trip to o'reillys. Well, when I walked back outside, there was a nice puddle of anti-freeze under my truck. Popped the hood, and sure enough, there's a crack near the top of the radiator that will pour out any coolant I fill above that level. She wasn't overheating, and I kept my eye on that gauge like a hawk. She made it the 6 hours to Houston and back, and got 18mpg, to boot.

Sunday night was my 21st birthday, and needless to say, I had a good time!

It got down to about 30 (and windy) Saturday night. It was 28 here this morning. That's just too cold to be working with the door open. I moved down here to get away from the cold!

Here's half of the tires my lovely neighbor threw over the fence in my woods and the police made me clean them up.
