Are all intake bolts the same??

Are all of them 3/8" x 1 1/2 " ??? It seems that all 4 outside bolts need to be shorter than that

I just went to the shop, and measured vintage intake bolts...1 1/8 inch long. So 1 1/2 would bottom out in head. Use the one inch.

All the bolts on my intake except the outside ones go straight thru the head into the lifter valley. Does it depend on the heads? Anyway thats why I put sealer on all the inside bolt threads. And I use 1 1/2" bolts on those inside eight. Some Fel-pro intake gaskets are too thick for just 1". IMHO.
