WIW - 68 Chevy Front Clip
Hey guys, was just wondering what a front clip off a 68 Chevy was worth? It comes with hood (1 dent on the side of it, but otherwise straight), hood hinges, both fenders (no rust on either fender but the driver's side has 3 or 4 small dents that can be easily fixed), both inner fenders (no rust on either), grille with original chrome hoops that are in great shape (no dents or rust in grille), grille support and splash pan, original chrome headlight bezels, radiator support (no rust) and hood latch assembly.
Thanks!

Re: WIW - 68 Chevy Front Clip
Pics would definitely help here.
I've seen them sell for $150-$400 depending on the condition.

Re: WIW - 68 Chevy Front Clip
Based on what you say the condition is, I would say $500-$800 for a complete front clip.

Re: WIW - 68 Chevy Front Clip
68 chev complete original GM nose with NO rust outs and just a few minor dents/dings here and there, $750. +++ around here. Price some of these pieces out in Taiwan repro, at some point the repop prices have to reflect on the value of better fitting limited availability oe metal. Mel
The good original stuff is getting hard to find these days, take a look at it this way, if purchased by the piece to build up a nice clip with good OE original paint rust free parts (at least here locally) are worth: $150.+ / Hood $250.+ / L & R fenders $100.+ / L & R inner fenders $200.+ / Core support $200.+ / Grille w/loops & HL bezels $ 40. / Hood hinges $ 40. / Splash pan $ 40. / Wiper cowl $1,020... conservatively |
