Seat Adjustment issues

I'm bringing the seat to be recover next week and I removed the seat glide/floor mounts and discovered that the driverside front mount is broken at the rear rivet (Pulled lose and is bent). I don't think there is a way to fix this short of tack welding so it may be easier to simply replace the whole unit. Any ideas?

Jake

Re: Seat Adjustment issues

Man that's a terrible picture.

Is there anyway to get to the underside with maybe a square nut, so you could put a short bolt in there? The square nut would give you more surface area to clamp to.

I tossed my bench seat many years ago, so I can't remember how it's made, sorry...Jeff

Re: Seat Adjustment issues

I'm not sure, there is only about a little over a 1/4" clearance, but after looking at it I'll just replace it, not cheaper, but easier.
