fitting non stock grill inner is challenging!
I think it looks a lot better than the busted up original - it's only black primer now (I still have some more tweaking and such to do).
Trying to decide on silver, black (match around the lights when I get that area painted) or white....(maybe not white...).

How do you activate the hood latch with this type of grille? It looks like you cannot reach it through the grille.

the latch has to bew welded to a long peice of metal so you can activate it under the bumper

Actually, I can slide my fingers through and pop it. I also have started a remote release for in the cab but need a longer cable.

Is there a kit for the remote hood latch? I'm trying to figure out how to add this to mine. I cannot reach through my billet grille.
