front hood latch adjustment?

I have my hood almost perfect aligned. The only problem is when I shut it all the way the latch in the front pulls it out of line a bit. Can I move the latch on the hood or the rad support? Do I have to move my whole front clip? thanks

Re: front hood latch adjustment?

The most movement you can get is with the latch plate on the hood.

Any more movement needed, you may have to loosen the entire core support and adjust again. But, if you are in that position, I would tend to wonder if something is more wrong than just alignment. Check to make sure you have the correct year latch for your hood and core support.

Check the bullet head on the hood it self and make sure it's right. If not mistaken it has some play in it. You may can shim it.
I found one on my 71 was bent when I first bought it so I replaced it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
