Re: Ram horn manifolds w/s10 swap?

I tried the straight down ones and it was a no go... simply due to engine mounts and frame spacing... the angled ones may work...

Are they the 2" or 2 1/2" version (I hear the 2 1/2" ones are better for mid/top end and the 2" on the low end, not that I have any experience in it... just what I've read). I ended upgoing with a set of cut down flowtechs...

Cheers!
Ted.

Angled ones don't work either. They hit the A arms. Tried it on mine with engine in stock position and one back almost 2" back.

Thanks guys, I know my engine is mounted lower than others and a few inches back too.... so I doubt they will work for me either.

Yaril is running them on his truck, not sure which style though.

I totally forgot he had them on that build... I might have to do some measuring now.

Re: Ram horn manifolds w/s10 swap?

I think he must have the engine up a bit. They aren't working on the stock motor mounts on my S10. I also have crash issues with the fuel pump. Might be a good idea to PM him.

Re: Ram horn manifolds w/s10 swap?

Yeah mine is far enough back that I can't run a mechanical fuel pump because it hits the crossmember.
