Transmission Selector Light - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My light is out on my transmission selector on the steering column and it looks like a sort of fiber optic set up. Is there a lamp in the instrument cluster that feeds light to it? (71 C-10 Auto)

Yes, it should be on the left side. You should be able to feel the fiber cable connected to it.
