Re: Single Best Mod?
The advancements that have been made since these trucks were produced are many..... IMO the mods that make the truck safer to drive are best.... then it would move to comfort.... In any event we are bless here to have fellow truck guys that are always thinking of cool mods to do that make these truck better and better.....

Re: Single Best Mod?
$400 up to $800 for a decent one, $150 for the cheapest...
I agree with the HEI, then disc brakes...

Re: Single Best Mod?
It depends on where you are starting, in my opinion. If your truck runs good but is bare bones, then the first two mods I would do would be power steering and power brakes. These two mods improve the driveability and enjoyment tremendously. If it's a drum brake truck, you can do power drums and they will work pretty well - much better than non-power.

Re: Single Best Mod?
So far it is the 4 wheel disc brake conversion, but there is a 700r4 that keeps eye'n me in the garage waiting to take the title.

Re: Single Best Mod?
I would say the LT1/700R4, since my 72' already had disks up front, p/s and no electrical issues....
