rotor/spidle size

I need to do the brakes on my 1986 Custom Deluxe 2wd 1/2 ton. How do I tell what size spindle I have so I get the right rotors?

Also, I have a brand new set of rotors I bought with some drop spindles, how can I tell if I can use those on my truck?

Thanks.

Re: rotor/spidle size

Measure the width of the rotor.
They will be either 1" wide or 1-1/4" wide.

If they are both the same width,... they will work.

Re: rotor/spidle size

Ok, thank you. I thought it it had to do with spindle diameter or something.
